re: ROBERTA AND THE MOON
As a closet astronomy nerd, I thoroughly enjoyed the witty space banter between Manny Moon and the various celestial bodies--especially Mother Earth.
Roberta and the Moon is an engaging and lively flight through the solar system and gives a fresh reason to smile at each glimpse of our Earth-ward facing satellite.

What a beautiful little fable. Sometimes shows with a multitude of characters played by only a few actors can seem muddled. Not so with
Roberta and the Moon. The transitions between characters were clean, the characterizations crisp, sweet, and often hilarious. I always felt like I was in good hands - and excited to see which familiar celestial body would appear next. The vulnerability of the title characters was achingly well done. And its bittersweet ending had me smiling for hours after it finished.

Christine is an absolute delight to watch on stage. Ms. Longe inhabited a number of heavenly bodies, including her own. Watching [Roberta] experience "rain" for the first time - it brought a tear to my eye. [Christine's] very distinct characterizations of Io, Europa, Halley's Comet, Earth . . . it was all a delicious experience. I loved the performances. So, so sweet. I hope that some smart Edmonton producers pick up the show and promote the hell out of it.

My favorite scene was Roberta dancing in the rain. Made me want to jump out of my seat and do sweet air kicks!

re: ROBERTA AND THE MOON
By the time this hilarious comedy-drama ends, Roberta shines with an inner enlightenment - while Manny D. Moon has found a terrestrial object with sufficient gravity to capture his attention and love. And the audience had been transformed as well; we emerged from the theater with a new sense of aspiration and hope, thanks to Roberta and her love for the moon. The entire performance was spot-on. Loved the burnt marshmallows. I absolutely loved the play, every bit of it. Clever, funny and with a wonderful message: Fall in love with something that will give your life gravity, meaning and joy.
